So, instead of selfishness, there is God’s will as our priority. Instead of what I want it’s what He wants. Instead of being addicted to sin, there’s freedom from sin. Free now to obey God’s will. What a delicious freedom that is for the first time in your life to look about you and say, “Thank God, I can serve Him…”

God has something wonderful for you as you wait before Him in His Word and then start obeying Him.

The written Word of God is not something that somebody dreamed up. It is the product of the force of the Holy Spirit impelling these sacred writers to put down that message…

Another part of God’s nature we may share in is peace. It comes through a right relationship with God, through prayer, through trusting God to handle it and fixing on the Word of God.

Another part of God’s divine nature we share is joy. Applying the Word of God in your life and living in His will gives you joy.

Everything you need to live a successful Christian life is already yours. God wants us to share in His own nature.The Holy Spirit in us allows us to share and show God’s image.

God will “settle” us, meaning lay a firm foundation for us when we live in obedience to what He says to us in His Word. When we disobey what God is telling us, we weaken the foundation.

Being strengthened by God begins with commitment, turning yourself over. Have faith to allow God’s power to give you help to never to grow tired or wear out.

You don’t have to be scared because you’re trusting somebody that is stronger!

You cannot succeed in life with partial surrender to Christ. Your example will be noticed by others if you are being changed by God’s Word in your life.
