You have to be willing to give up what you have to God for someone else’s needs, without thinking of yourself and what you’ll get back. Yield some portion of your life to God for Him to use and you’ll be blessed for it.
The ability to care about people is something that the Holy Spirit develops in us. The love of Christ drives us. Seek God until you’re refreshed. When you do, He’ll bless your soul, cleanse your conscience, and lead you to those who need help.
Prayer before and after situations gives you a better understanding of God’s direction for you. It’s vitally important to spend daily time with God. Even 5 or 10 minutes will refresh you and guide you.
Let God say when your job is done. He may call you to do something for Him, but don’t assume that you’ll be doing that forever. Stay on the mainline of His perfect will for you and give yourself completely to it.
God doesn’t always answer the “why” questions of our lives, but He does show He is there. Don’t ask Him why things are happening. Instead, ask Him to get you through and show you the opportunity and growth for your life in it. He always will.
Don’t bind yourself to the structure of the unsaved human race. Instead, yield to the Holy Spirit and let Him guide you in God’s truth. Keep doing God’s will and don’t allow any compromises in your life.
Godly sorrow works for repentance, but the sorrow of the world works for death. Submit your thoughts and emotions to God so He can really know how you feel.
Don’t take it personally if someone hates you because you’re a Christian. Hearts that turn away from God react this way. Say yes to God’s will and be sure that when the truth of God comes to you that you don’t quench it. Everyone makes mistakes and you will always remember them. But repent to God and things will be made anew.
When you’re talking to someone about the Gospel and they reject it, let it go. Let God handle it and remember you are someone when you represent the King of Kings. Prayer and faith will always put you where God wants you to be.
