Repentance

And although you may be a professing Christian and have given yourself to Christ in faith, maybe some time ago yet just this minute you’re aware of areas in your life that are weak and that are feeble and those areas in which you fail.

As born-again believers, we have been resurrected and made alive, having been dead in trespasses and sin. If you’re not obeying God, you’re obeying someone else.

You end up worshipping that which is most important to you. Anything that is more valuable to you than the will of God is your idol and so that which you consider the most valuable is that which you’ll end up worshipping.

Revival starts with us examining ourselves and being willing to deal with the obvious wrong in our life.

The minute you turn it over to God, He can handle it. And the heaviness goes out of the burden, and the sting goes out of the hurt, and the presence of the Lord Jesus fills your life with peace and joy — I can guarantee it. Turn to Him today.

The effect of the gospel involves a turning- turning towards God or away from him. The Christian life is doing all with the blessed hope of Christ’s return in mind.

Serve God being mindful of the Second Coming. Live in such a way that you are ready.

Be humble enough to serve in a practical, continual, and loving relationship to those around you.

Godly sorrow works for repentance, but the sorrow of the world works for death. Submit your thoughts and emotions to God so He can really know how you feel.

When you’re talking to someone about the Gospel and they reject it, let it go. Let God handle it and remember you are someone when you represent the King of Kings. Prayer and faith will always put you where God wants you to be.
