Fruit Of The Spirit

The hope of your calling. What is it? Just a person. A person, the Lord Jesus Christ. He is our hope.

All the things that human nature fails at, the Holy Spirit succeeds at. He said you ought to keep on praying, keep on praying, just keep on praying till light breaks through.

The presence of God evident in your life. Now that’s much more than religiosity and piety that’s put on. You cannot fake real godliness. It can’t be done. It has to be real, the mystery of godliness. Why is a person that way?

Showing kindness is a result of God’s working in your life. Kindness is courtesy in action, being helpful. Kindness will make an impression on people.

Longsuffering is a fruit of the Spirit–part of God’s nature. Longsuffering means to be accepting towards all types of people as they are. Spend time with God and ask him to change you.

Another part of God’s nature we may share in is peace. It comes through a right relationship with God, through prayer, through trusting God to handle it and fixing on the Word of God.

Whenever God shows up in our life that’s when the Holy Spirit is in control. The Holy Spirit controlling our life produces the fruits of the Spirit.

Surrender is the same, whether you give up to sin or give up to Jesus.

Freedom, therefore, is freedom not to have your own way, but freedom to serve others for God’s glory.

The results of what I do that is good, will accrue in terms of eternal value.
