Everything you need to live a successful Christian life is already yours. God wants us to share in His own nature.The Holy Spirit in us allows us to share and show God’s image.

The knowledge of God in Christ comes by spending time with Him and in his Word. Prayer involves my commitment to living out what God tells me. God’s promises are mine to apply in my circumstances.

God looks at us through the perfection of Jesus’ sacrifice and sees us blameless. The Holy Spirit and the Word of God purifies our character.

The way a spouse behaves is being observed by the other. Your lifestyle can win over the unbeliever. The wife’s lifestyle includes the presence of God and respect. True beauty comes from what’s inside the person.

Following our own desires, what we want instead of what God wants for us is what shapes us. Our desires need to line up with God’s plan and a holy lifestyle.

Paul does an appraisal of his ministry. Presenting the gospel should be done in truth, sincerity without flattery. Be an encourager.

To deny yourself means giving up the right to try again without God’s help.

Ask yourself: How do my decisions at home and at school and on the street and in business testify and reflect upon the name of the God I worship?

Sit down and make a list of the things that you ought to be thankful for — things for which you have never thanked your Lord, and then get busy thanking Him.

Pride is the essence of human failure; and it is also the point at which many a person fails in his or her Christian life. So, by faith, put on humility.
