Godly sorrow works for repentance, but the sorrow of the world works for death. Submit your thoughts and emotions to God so He can really know how you feel.
Don’t take it personally if someone hates you because you’re a Christian. Hearts that turn away from God react this way. Say yes to God’s will and be sure that when the truth of God comes to you that you don’t quench it. Everyone makes mistakes and you will always remember them. But repent to God and things will be made anew.
When you’re talking to someone about the Gospel and they reject it, let it go. Let God handle it and remember you are someone when you represent the King of Kings. Prayer and faith will always put you where God wants you to be.
When you are down to nothing, you realize God is enough. Yield to Him. If you do that, He’ll use you. God is enough for you, and you are complete in Him. Everything you’ll ever need is found in your relationship with Him.
Without faith, you cannot please God fully and then results and His plans can be hindered. It hurts God when we reject Him or don’t believe He can do something. He can and He will. Just trust Him.
Don’t allow familiarity with Jesus to lead to taking Him for granted. Be close to Him, honor Him and pray. Depend on the Holy Spirit, so that He will in turn guide you.
Don’t fear what others think of your relationship with God, because if you are honest with how you feel about God, He will help you and be a part of your life.
Don’t be afraid to yield fully to Jesus. Minister to others in your everyday life as He would. If others are uncomfortable it may be a reminder of the wrongs in their life, but always display God’s love as a witness to them.
If Jesus is in the boat of your life and you are obeying Him, you have nothing to fear. You are unsinkable! Give yourself to Him and let Him renew you and guide you
