The thing that glorifies Jesus is the opening of human hearts to Him by faith so that eternal life is received and they in turn honor the Savior who saved them by His grace.
Spend time with your Lord; let Him love you; let Him shine on you; let Him whisper His Truth to you. Then, write down the things that He whispers to you so that you can think about them afterwards and won’t be gone in forgetfulness.
So your Savior is saying to you, “Cheer up. I dealt with the sin problem and I’ve dealt with the fear problem – I can deal with anything that threatens you.”
God knows what He’s doing and He says so. Oh, real peace comes then from turning-things-over to your blessed Lord. Make a habit of yielding the situations as they arise to your Lord.
Life is cruel oftentimes. But the joy that you have in Christ doesn’t depend on things or people… it depends on Him. And He hath said, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
If you’re down; if you’re hurting; if you’re disillusioned; if people have failed you; if your dreams have failed to come true; if what you want the most in life doesn’t arrive, Jesus is still there.
When the Spirit of God takes hold of your life, there won’t be any loss in transference of the Truth, but Jesus, our blessed Lord, will receive the glory when your light shines brightly because the Holy Spirit lit it up.
Have you asked your Lord to guide you by His Spirit? This is one of the continuing miracles of the Christian life. You can be guided divinely in the steps of ordinary life.
The only Jesus that people will see is the One who lives in you. “The only demonstration of righteousness that this old world and people in it will see in this age is in your life as a believer.”
