Make Him Lord of your feelings. By faith, take from Him the calming of the inner storms and the joy and peace that He alone can give.

There’s room in God’s economy for infinite variety, but it always honors Jesus. It always is true to the Word and it always results in bringing people to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

God’s blessing is related to a lifelong quest of seeking peaceful relationships in Christ.

Paul said, “I’m the prisoner of Jesus Christ, not Caesar. I belong to Jesus. And He has me here for His purposes.”

Did you know that when people pray together, they get along better? Did you know that when the church gets on its knees, church politics seem to diminish, and if not, disappear altogether?

Grace and peace: grace is the relationship, peace is the experience. Both of them come from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Another part of God’s nature we may share in is peace. It comes through a right relationship with God, through prayer, through trusting God to handle it and fixing on the Word of God.

Peace will flow out of giving God our worries and feelings.

God said, “Seek peace.” So that means, look for the non-combative, non-confrontational way of relating to people and to issues.

Memorizing scripture and praying it over has an effect on our attitudes and action.The application of Christ’s death cleanses us.
