Ministry

The work of the ministry, work at it. You do not bless other people by drifting through life. Ministry is sharing God with people at the point of their need.

Now about this matter of a mystery, it doesn’t represent something you cannot know. When the Bible uses the word mystery, it’s something that you can’t know by yourself but which God wants to open up to you.

Look to your heavenly Father for special grace within the parameters of whatever gifts He may have given you. What gifts do you have?

Paul said, “I’m the prisoner of Jesus Christ, not Caesar. I belong to Jesus. And He has me here for His purposes.”

What I am raising is that the power of Christ’s resurrection is power to share the very presence and power of the Lord Jesus Christ to needy, hungry lives.

Make Him Lord in every area of your life: your feelings, your mind, motives.

Being honest with God involves stopping manipulative behavior — trying to manipulate people. It involves stopping the idea of explaining away what God’s word is plainly saying.

Paul came as a father, persuading, comforting and encouraging. We persuade others of their need for the gospel.

How to give of yourself to someone: notice them, spend time with them, listen to them. The characteristics of being a good listener. Live your life in a way that the message is believable to them.

Be right with God and right with people so as you present the message of salvation, your walk will be credible.
