The unity of faith is centered in the deity of Christ, the inerrancy of the Word of God, and the Gospel message pure-and-clear.

Give thanks. Why? Because that’s God’s Will in Christ, concerning you. The miracle of the Christian life is tied somehow to our willingness to thank God for what He’s doing in our lives, whether or not we like it.

When you become a Christian, you give up the right to put yourself first. The more you think of others first, the more blessed you will be.

Just be there. Your loving presence is more of a comfort than you know. Listen, don’t talk. Love, don’t preach.

Continue helpful contact with people. Show people you really care about them with a second question. Show them your gratitude with a second thank-you. It’s important to get together with other Christians.

Godliness is the quality of God in any department of life, and there is a godly way to do anything that ought to be done. There is a loving way to say anything that ought to be said, and there’s a godly way to do anything that ought to be done.

Your example, beloved, is the best sermon you can preach.

You build up other people not by what you lecture them with, but by the example of a miracle life that they see lived before them.

You have a chance then to share with somebody’s need and burden and heartache by having asked the second question of concern.
