The blessed truth is that there is another Somebody who is there. He’s real. You can talk to him and He’ll talk to you. His name is Jesus.

If I keep my mind on God and His Word and His Will, I’ll end up trusting God; and as a result, I’ll have perfect peace.

You work every day under the supervision of God. Do what you do because God has you there. Live at peace. The war in your own heart is over and you don’t need to worry with your focus on God.

The Bible says when you pray about your job you will have the right thoughts and attitude.

If you work in Christian ministry it is work. As a boss to others don’t boss people around, but lead them. Be gentle when giving criticism. Be courteous.

When you become a Christian, you give up the right to put yourself first. The more you think of others first, the more blessed you will be.

Just be there. Your loving presence is more of a comfort than you know. Listen, don’t talk. Love, don’t preach.

Continue helpful contact with people. Show people you really care about them with a second question. Show them your gratitude with a second thank-you. It’s important to get together with other Christians.

What does it mean for Christians to do some comforting? Be there, be physically present. Use encouraging words and positive reinforcement.

The main work of Jesus is praying for you. God never promised us we won’t suffer troubles, but He won’t forsake us. He isn’t punishing us with wrath. He loves us.
