The first thing in this matter of fearing God is to realize that God is almighty, He is sovereign, He is supreme, He’s the creator — you’re the creature, He’s the potter — you’re the clay.

True sacrificial love has to come from a changed heart, changed by the Holy Spirit. Your heart’s attitude towards others will change as you pray for people in your life.

Ways to show honor: notice people, show that you care about them. To honor is to value and esteem.

When under persecution, it is ultimately what people see of Christ in how you act. We are truly free when we are living in the will of God.

To believe involves a commitment of each area of life to Christ. Whatever God is asking you to do, do it.

When we give Christ complete control of our lives He becomes precious. How to deal with hurt and anger- turn things over to Him.

God’s work in our lives involves getting rid of all behaviors such as manipulating others and hypocrisy. The definition of guile: getting what you want at someone else’s expense.

The fact that we have received salvation requires action. Get rid of malice, or bitterness. We need to surrender all areas to Christ.
